“Don’t Upset the Rhythm” is first single off Wild Young Hearts, the new album by the Noisettes. It’s already gone to #2 in the UK. Hopefully they will tour the US in the fall and I can see them perform it live. There are two versions of the video, both are interesting. I couldn’t embed either of them but here’s the song!
Noisettes @ Santos Party House 10-23-08

I saw the Noisettes during CMJ last year at Santos Party House. I’ve been a fan of theirs for a while now. They played mostly new material, and performed a short set of only seven songs. There was a point during the show when Shingai crouched down right in front of me and I got some awesome close up shots. Sadly the lighting at Santos isn’t too great and most of my pics came out blurry. They didn’t play ”Don’t Upset the Rhythm” which is my favorite track off their new album. I’ll post the video for it later. They are fantastic live and have loads of energy, I really hope they do a proper US tour after their album get a release date here.
